TAVISTOCK COUNTRY CLUB DRESS CODE FOR GOLF COURSE

The rules include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Attire: All members of outings must adhere to the dress code set forth by Tavistock Country Club. Men must wear conservatively tailored trousers or tailored shorts no higher than 3” above the top of the knee. Shirts must be tucked in and have sleeves and a collar (except for the approved short sleeve mock turtleneck designed for golf). Women may wear slacks, shorts or skirts; shorts and skirts must be no higher than 4” above the top of the knee. Women’s shirts may be sleeveless or collarless as long as they are designed for golf wear.
  
  • Not permitted at any time are blue jeans, tank tops, tee shirts, cut-offs, swimwear or shirts with printed phrases or slogans, cargo pants or cargo shorts

• Spikes: All golfers playing at Tavistock Country Club MUST have spikeless shoes. Our locker room attendants will be glad to put in spikeless spikes at a cost of $10.00 per pair. It will be the responsibility of all outings to notify their players of this new rule.

   

• Golf Course: Please follow the signs for cart usage and keep carts on cart paths where posted. We would appreciate every effort to replace divots, repair ball marks and rake bunkers.
